Chapter One

The Occult

JESUS CHRIST OR SATAN

There are only two sources for supernatural power: Jesus Christ or Satan. Seeking power beyond the Word of God and Jesus Christ finds one stepping into the world of the Occult.

CAUSES OF TRANSFERENCE OF SPIRITS

1. Living a sinful life.

2. Laying on of hands

3. Lust of the flesh.

4. Eye gate and ear gate.

5. Though the medium of words.

6. Witchcraft and idolatry.

7. False religions and cults.

MIND MANIPULATION

The Bible shows that the mind can be manipulated by supernatural forces. “But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth ,the same veil taken away in the reading of the old testament; which veil is done away in Christ,” (2 Jn. 6:14).

These devils use deception to transfer spirits through the mind “Satan disguises himself as an “angel of light,” (2 Jn. 11:14), appearing to men as a messenger of that which is good and wholesome to indicate that truly he comes from God.

Todd Bentley’s sermon on June 22, 2008 in Lakeland, Florida was called, the
Dark Night of the Soul.

His emotional, dispirited talk was sprinkled every other word with “I, me, my, pain, hurt, inner healing, bad memories, etc.” He talked about going through the dark night of the soul. When I typed the phrase into Google, how surprising to find that he was talking about phase of consciousness raising process associated with the
Kundalini awakening.

Mystic Org. says, “Dark night of the soul” sounds like a threatening and much to be avoided experience. Yet perhaps a quarter of the seekers on the road to higher consciousness will pass through the dark night. In fact, they may pass through several until they experience the profound joy of their true nature.Many seekers would encourage the dark night experience if they knew what it was. However, to one engaged in the dark night, suffering seems unending. The dark night occurs after considerable advancement toward higher consciousness. Indeed, the dark night usually occurs like an initiation before one of these special seekers is admitted into regular relationship with higher consciousness. The dark night also occurs to those who do not seek relationship but immersion or unity in the higher consciousness. While the term dark night of the soul is used broadly, its general meaning — in the field of higher consciousness — is a lengthy and profound absence of light and hope. In the dark night you feel profoundly alone.

Wholly sensual, the desires of the mind overwhelmed and lost in the desires of the flesh, their souls no longer discerning their high destiny, but ever minding earthly things, so that they were sensualist, brutalized, and become flesh, incarnated so as not to retain God in their knowledge. They lived sought their portion in this life, so that the whole earth was corrupt was filled with violence before God.

Swimming in a supernatural fictional river, dancing and rolling on the floor . . . sometimes making fiendish animal ~ dog barking, cow mooing, wolf shrieking sounds, collecting cellophane gold dust and gem stones falling from heaven; captivated and being entertained in ‘Christian’ strange fire. Oh, doesn’t it ‘feel’ so good.

FREEDOM
Christians can live free from mental torture, panic, envy, hatred, pride, self-pity, addictions, alcohol, drugs, sexual perversions, pornography, murder, retaliation, bitterness, unforgiveness, violence, temper, anger, self-will, stubbornness, disobedience, anti submissiveness, gluttony and all other forms of bondage, oppression and defilement!
Person=s inner problems.
The flesh, or the >old man.@ The old man is the carnal nature of the flesh. It is the rebellious will being influenced and tempted by Satan.
AKnowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin,@ (Rom. 6:6).

Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; 10 and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him,@ (Col 3:9?10).

Children are the targets of Satan’s darkness and parents are walking in agreement with his tactics. Sadly, Christian Church leadership is spiritually bankrupt concerning its discernment concerning his powers of darkness. “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil,” (Isa. 5).
Satan is boldly striking from within the Church, both adults and children. The spirits of violence, paganism, fantasy and wizardry are mainlined themes projected at Christian children. Many spiritually blinded “Christian” leaders are pursuing a powerful demonic agenda that will take Christians into the emerging church or the new world counterfeit system. The metaphysical capture of the souls and minds of the youth is the goal to turn them to another gospel, another spirit and another Jesus. Unrighteous deception is escalating because our churches and many spiritual leaders are sleeping.

COMPUTER GAMES

How can children be influenced to readily accept demons? Are we opening Christian children to new forms of spell-binding spiritual and psychological addictions?

The new video game called Left Behind – Eternal Forces that is scheduled to be released sometime in 2006 was inspired by the best-selling, “Left Behind” book series. These demonic games will subliminal open children to the influence of violence, mind control and wizardry. Webster’s defines fantasy as imagination or fancy, especially wild, visionary fancy; unreal mental images; illusions; phantasms; whim; queer notions; caprice; an imaginative poem, play, etc.; in psychology, a mental image as in a day dream.
