There is a difference between those who want to be delivered from their sins, and those who live continue to nurture such things. People, who are proud and profane, enjoying their sins to the hilt, are those who will feel the heat of the Lords retribution. It says in Romans chapter one, verse thirty-one to thirty-two of such people, “Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful, Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.” These are those who ride in the proud wagon full of men’s sins. They have no intention of repenting of such sins. What sins you say? The bible says that “all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” in Romans chapter three verse twenty three. That is why God sent his son. So that men full of sins could repent. The problem is when man, full of pride and his sins will not repent. They look to the heavens and curse God, and then make excuses why they are right and God is wrong. In Malachi chapter four, verse one, it says “For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.” This is a day when the proud, those who do wickedly will face judgment of God. We also know that Jude warned those who indulged in the sins of Sodom and Gomorrah by saying in Jude chapter one, verse seven, “Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.”
Why do I say these things? I say these as warnings to those who read this. I tell a nation that has been blessed of God to watch what they do. I tell ministers who refuse to tell the truth about such sins they will face Gods wrath for what they do. I also tell those who truly want deliverance, that God can and will deliver you from your sins if you want. Jeremiah chapter twenty nine, verse three reminds us that “ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” I have heard many people say they have sought God and no answer came. I believe that in today’s pop tart world and instant burger business, we know not what waiting on the Lord is. The guarantee is that you will find the Lord, when “you search for the Lord with all your heart”. Just as the Proud will become stubble on the day of Wrath, those who have sought God and repented of their sins will find peace with Him. They have Gods guarantee on it. Both James and Peter give us a glimpse of this when they tell us that God will resist the proud, but gives grace to the humble. That is who you are when you repent, simply humble.
James 4:6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
1 Peter 5:5 ¶Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
It is an attitude that you are a sinner and you know it. You can do nothing about it and know that also. You come to God with a broken and contrite heart. This means you seek God, confess your sins to him. Your heart is broken over your sins, God knows your heart and whether your kidding or not. As you are truly faithful to confess your sins, God is faithful to forgive your sins and cleanse you from all unrighteousness.
Psalms 34:18 The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
Psalms 51:17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
It is in this attitude of repentance you must find yourself in order to obtain the Lords help. Truly seeking God, having a heart that is sick of sin, and knowing you cannot change yourself. The Lord does it for you. As you confess and come to the Lord, he will deliver you. The Good news is today, drug addicts, porn addicts, homosexuals, lesbians, and people of all kinds of sins have been brought into Gods kingdom. They have found new life. Deliverance for them is a three word sentence; it is the “Lord Jesus Christ”. It is in Him, the “Lord Jesus Christ” that you must believe. As it says in John chapter three, verses sixteen to twenty-one.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
God so loved the world, that includes you and me, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have eternal life. If you believe in His son, you are not condemned but if you believe not, you are condemned already. It is in this, that salvation and deliverance rests.
Moreover, when God saves and delivers you, he saves you from your sins, and out of them. He doesn’t deliver homosexuals and make them a “child of the king” and leave them in this sinful lifestyle. He delivers you fully. Those in the church, or should I say Pseudo-church, who pervert the Word of God, will tell you things that will send you to hell. Let me tell you the Word of God on the matter of Christians living a Godly lifestyle.

As a born again believer, all things are become new. You are a new creature, the old lifestyle and things have passed away. New desires are in its place; desires to read Gods word and live a life pleasing to Him. There is nothing better than to see the power of God deliver people who have repented of their sins. In the sin department, we have them. God forgives and delivers us. From then on we are new creatures in Christ. Living a life that is pleasing to our God. Paul made this clear in scripture.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Your old life and its ways are described in the bible as being the “old man”. As you have put on the Lord Jesus Christ, you have a “new man” after the Lord not after the flesh. The old man and his ways, no matter what they did before, have been driven out by the power of God. Now the enemy may come back to tempt you, but God will not allow you to be tempted above what you can handle. The great thing about our life in Christ is His power in us. By His power we can rebuke thoughts, desires, motives, and challenges from the flesh and the enemy. So remember in your new life, your old man is crucified dead and buried. Your not perfect, but your forgiven and living a life pleasing to God. It is a life of faith, trust, confession, and following the Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
Ephesians 4:22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
Colossians 3:9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
In conclusion, let me add these scriptures. They speak of God’s wrath coming upon the child of disobedience. These are so-called Christians, pastors, ministers, and churches who have not followed the scripture. These are those who are walking in darkness to the lusts of the flesh. Read the scriptures following and be careful to not forget them.
Ephesians 5:3 ¶But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
Colossians 3:4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
5 ¶Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
6 For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
7 In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.
8 ¶But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.
12 ¶Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
Here is Johns warning on the matter. It is the conclusion. If you sin, you are of the devil. If you do not follow righteous ways, you are not of the Lord Jesus Christ. You can call yourself anything you want. Decorate yourself, clean yourself up, and lie to yourself, but truth is truth. Even in this godless nation called America, truth is truth. Read the bible and find out. Only through faith in Jesus Christ, and letting His Spirit live in you, creating a clean heart, making you able to walk a godly life can you be truly saved from Gods wrath. So if you truly want deliverance, God will truly deliver you.
1 John 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
