The Story of Moses is a grand story, but to many it is just that, a story. To me and many others it is God’s truth of the matter concerning the beginning of Israel, their deliverance from bondage, and the fulfillment of the ‘covenant of promise’ made to Abraham. I love the Word of God, its truth and the fact that God gave it to the world. The world, though doesn’t understand it. The one’s to whom it was truly given was the ‘remnant’ of God. Those who truly loved God and followed him in faith and obedience taught by our Savior Y’Shua [Jesus Christ]. Many would argue that God did not give it to the world, that is true, but he made it available for all in the world. Why? Because God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, this is found in John chapter three. Also God gave his son and commanded all men everywhere to repent. But in all this I find the main truth of love that streams from a God that loved his creation so much he would come and die for them. All because they would not die, but live.
John 17:14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
17 ¶Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

Hebrews 3:13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end;
15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
16 For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
17 But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?
19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
Spring has finally arrived. It is always great to see green, the mark of life, growing around and sprouting up after a winter in our part of the country. We know snow, cold, chill, freezing temps, and the hardness of that time of year. The Canadian Geese are in the river and are noisy. They too, seemed to be happy that the seasons are changing. It won’t be long before the small ones will be arriving and you will see a gaggle of them in the water and on the shore.

Those who believe but have not seen!
John 20:29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
We have all heard of doubting Thomas’! Those people that no matter what you say about something, will not believe it unless they see it. Ever hear of the ’show me state?’ The phrase “show me state” has some origins that are not clear as to where it came from. Some attribute the saying to a 1899 speech by Congressman Willard Vandiver, others to Missouri laborers brought to Colorado to quell a miners strike and required frequent instruction. No matter where it came from, it rings true today that ‘Missouri’ is the ’show me state’. As well Thomas was a ’show me’ follower of the LORD Jesus. He would not believe by mere words, he would need to see personally. In America, this is very true, as a result, many are unbelievers and narrow minded. These also are people who do not see the Word of God in any special light.

The early Christians knew paganism well and also the religious aspect of the Roman empire that aspired and grew around them. Rome never forbade religious exercise unless it threatened the empire or became at odds with the Gods of the empire or the Caesar himself. The era of Christian persecution in the empire of Rome spread itself by Nero [54-68], then by Maximinus the Thracian [235-238], followed by Emperor Decius [249-251]. Another round found its way to the Christian under Valerian [253-260], but the last and most cruel of all persecutions was under Diocletian in 305. It was under this emperor that laws were passed in which made it illegal to possess sacred books and enjoy fellowship in churches. This was followed by the illegalization of any persons who were Christian priests, unless said priest made obeisance to the Roman Gods with sacrifices. Then the Emperor made his final coup etat, by making all people in the Empire bow and make sacrifices to the Roman gods under threat of death. To Rome, the Christians who did not accept their Gods, especially Jupiter, was unacceptable. The early believers did not make sacrifices to Gods, did not carry pendants and obelisks of their Gods, and many in the empire simply distrusted these Christians who did unspeakable things in secret. These people were so bad, even the Jews, who were unruly themselves at times and who served what they called the ‘one true God’, did not accept these Christians.

Rome in America, Ancient ways now modern
When the Roman Empire would conquor a region, they would usually incorporate the better avenues of that society into Rome life. In the case of the Greeks, they would incorporate the food, literature, Gods, and language into the life of everyday Roman citizens. Today, even in America, we can trace certain things from the Roman culture. In this we find a myriad of Gods and traditions that have found their way to our land. When Christmas was first celebrated in America, Puritans did not follow this custom. They knew the origins of it. Christmas was derived from the Pagan Organiastic festival of Rome, which was known as the “festival of Saturn” or Saturnalia. The time for heralding their God Saturn happened December 17-23. This was time at the end of the Vintage and harvesting with feasting and unrestrained merrymaking. Observance included exchanging presents and offering sacrifices. Masters served their slaves as a token of the equality of rank and the lack of class distinctions during the golden age (which was supposedly ruled over by Saturn). It became later known as Saturnalia. The lower case saturnalia became known as synonymous with “orgy” among the Christians. This Event became so unrestrained in its manner, it was later outlawed by the Roman Senate. However, during their reigns, many Caesar’s of Rome held celebrations close to the same type of orgy that was the rule in the festivals of Saturn. Dionysus, also commonly known by his Roman name Bacchus, appears to be a god who has two distinct origins. On the one hand, Dionysus was the god of wine, agriculture, and fertility of nature, who is also the patron god of the Greek stage. On the other hand, Dionysus also represents the outstanding features of mystery religions, such as those practiced at Eleusis: ecstasy, personal delivery from the daily world through physical or spiritual intoxication, and initiation into secret rites. The woman associated with this festival and the rites of Dionysus were called Maenads, interpreted to mean “a frenzied woman who is part of a orgiastic ritual”. A more appropriate term is “nymphet”. These woman according to history says that these women would get in a high “frenzied” nature through dance, wine, and orgasiatic atmosphere they would run into the forest and tear apart any animal they saw and eat them raw. »» American Bacchanalia

Gentiles dispensation of the Grace of God
We cover the Sabbath, the commandments, and the feasts in this newsletter today. I do this to show scripture relating to this. There will be those who will argue, seek to tell you this is law, which it is not! Many today in the church, including Pastors, theologians, and others are ignorant do not know what they speak. Many follow church theology and doctrine passed down for centuries. They have added to it just as the Jews added to the law and made the Word of God of Non-effect by their traditions of men!
We find the book of Revelation talking about the children of God keeping the Commandments of God, the faith and testimony of Jesus! Even in the last book o of the bible we find commandments, faith, and testimony of Jesus Christ!
Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Revelation 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

We the People Stand up
The man who created two phenomenally successful “We The People” YouTube videos urging Americans to stand up against
Congress and reclaim their republic now – or perhaps lose it forever – reportedly has been summoned to the White House by President Obama to discuss the subject matter of the short films.
Bob Basso, who posts videos under the name funbobbasso on YouTube, has created videos in which he portrays Thomas Paine, author of the “Common Sense” pamphlet that made the case for independence during the American Revolution.
